The Dangerous Club for Boys
For lads and dads aged 5-105, the Dangerous Club for Boys (DC4B) is all about having fun and great experiences together. From den building, to rocket making, to slot cars, to geo-caching and much more.
DC4B is not a formal group – more a bunch of people who get together to do fun stuff. It is not-for-profit and the costs come out of our own pockets.
Safety
Despite the name, safety is really important.
If you’re a dad wanting to get involved in these types of fun activities then please remember that safeguarding children and managing risks of injury to children and adults is primarily your responsibility – so take it seriously (but keep it light!).
If you’re organising an event or trip, its a good idea to do a risk assessment and make sure you’ve done your best to eliminate unnecessary risks and have made provision for any risks you can’t eliminate.
