The start of the Easter holidays saw DC4B heading out for a night hike from The Lookout across Swinley Forest to Bagshot. The weather was fabulous. We set off at dusk and as the darkness came in torches, head torches and even night-vision goggles came out.
After a short stop for refreshments we headed off to find a geocache that Mike had spotted on his iPhone app located about 500m away. A bit of scrambling up a hill got us to the location and we found the cache. Having signed the log book we headed on this time without torches.
We rolled into Bagshot at about 9:40pm and apart from Timmy getting covered in mud all 23 of us survived. Some of the younger boys were a bit sleepy by this point but everyone had had a great time.
